It’s amazing how much we resist contentedment. Perhaps we live in a world where we’re so trained to seek out and fix discontent that we make savoring the moments we’re truly content less important. Thanks for the reminder.
No problem! For whatever reason, it’s so much easier to focus on the bad. Maybe it’s because we take the good for granted, or maybe because it’s like that ankle you twist and is now sore – its throbbing draws attention to it, while the rest of the body doesn’t actively call for our attention.
